As part of both the user experience and visual design teams (responsibilities straddled both) at Digitas Health I worked on a variety of projects that explored how digital technologies could fundamentally help healthcare practitioners at their jobs so that they can better serve their patients.
We did this by speaking with and carefully studying healthcare professionals' challenges and needs. By better understanding not only the people behind the care and also the environments in which they work we were able to recommend digital products that might help.
Understanding doctors and nurses – can digital technologies make their incredibly challenging jobs easier?
Sanofi Nurse's Challenge
Sanofi, a global healthcare company, was hosting a challenge to nurses to come up with a digital solution that would help them at their jobs.
I lead a brainstorming session with the team at Digitas Health to come up with a concept for promoting the challenge which offered as its prize funding for developing the technology.
AstraZeneca Nexus Event
Global pharma company AstraZeneca came to Digitas Health for the design and execution of an event that would celebrate their accomplishments.
I collaborated with the Creative Director of Digitas Health to design the event space and all of the materials in it to
Oncologists and Digital
I worked with UX director Angel Brown, in running participatory design sessions with oncologists across Western Europe. We used the Cooper Method to distil research, detect patterns, and to form insights on the digital behaviors of these oncologists and feed this back to the client, Pfizer, a large pharmaceutical company. Our data informed a larger digital strategy hashed out by Angel and members of the Digitas Health marketing team.
