2. Design Problems
3. Design Process & Inspiration
The design process focused on simplifying natural forms into clean, recognizable graphic elements. Inspiration was drawn from honeycomb structures, organic shapes, and the movement of bees, which informed both the icon design and pattern development.
A warm, honey-inspired color palette was established and balanced with cooler tones to create contrast and visual interest. Iterations explored different levels of detail, ultimately refining the bee icon into a minimal, scalable graphic.
Patterns and layouts were developed to create a flexible system that could adapt across multiple applications, while maintaining a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.
4. Design Solution
The final identity builds from a simplified bee form and a color palette drawn from honey, wax, and sunlight. Instead of relying on detailed illustration, the design focuses on bold shapes and clear silhouettes, making the brand easy to recognize at any scale.
A system of repeating patterns and structured layouts supports the identity across different applications, allowing it to move between packaging, web, and print while maintaining consistency and visual interest. Typography introduces contrast through the pairing of expressive lettering and a clean sans serif, helping guide hierarchy and readability.
Together, these elements create a brand that feels intentional and adaptable, using reduction and structure to form a distinct identity that can expand across new formats.
